Tracking my routines

I have trouble keeping track of my routines for a few years.
This year I start something new. I dedicate a section in my planer for my household routines
I'm using a week in two pages and I divide all my chores throughout out the week.
It even work if when I work part time outside the house.
I know my way will not work for everyone but it work for me.
Everyday of the week is for a part of my apartment.
- Monday I usually cleaning my bedroom and the bathroom. Plus a quick cleaning of the kitchen and hallway (sweep and mop).
-Tuesday I clean my boys room .
-Wednesday is the kitchen and grocery list or inventory.
-Thursday is the bathroom to get it in shape for the weekend.
-Friday is my daughter room.
I also list every area who need to be clean in each room.
Check this week routines. Next week I will switch Thursday and Friday.

A way to keep track of my expenses

I been struggling with my monthly budget for years.
I know what's the point of a budget if I don't follow it. Lol
So I decide to track my expenses starting next week.
You know every time I spend or make a deposit I will write it down andsave it. I the end of the month I'll have an idea of where all my money goes.
As of now I know for a fact how much I spend on my bills. But not the extras.
Also next month I will start a challenge to save money every month. The challenge name is "the 52 weeks challenge".
But for now I had to dig in my supply bag to found a place to enter my expenses.
I will be using this weekly note pad from target.
I usually use it to write my weekly menu plan and my to-do list if I need more space.

Laundry day

I hate doing laundry.
We are a family of 4 with a toddler. My kids wear uniform to school but somehow I still have a lot of loads to do.
Years back I use to have a washer/dryer at home but now we are not allow to have one. I have to walk 2 blocks to wash the clothes.
That's mean a whole day affair. Until I start using my planner and scheduling my everyday life.
I found out that if I do a load for each family member once a week it cost less and I don't spend all day at the laundromat.
This is my typical week

Monday:  Stanley's laundry
Wednesday: Alexe's laundry
Friday:  Katlin's laundry
Saturday: My laundry and all the linens. Plus the uniforms

I usually have one loadduring the week and 2 on weekends. Whish work

My planner update

In my last post, I share what I use to stay organize this year (what I'm using to stay organize)

Like you can see I had a B&N punctuate planner. Don't get me wrong I love it but I found out it got the back pocket in the back wasn't working for me. I will put something there like my coupons and forget about them.
So I start searching for a new planner. I check the Filofax website but the price for a personal size was too much money and I didn't like the color or change the size I was using.
So yesterday I went to staples and found this black Day-Timer.
I'm in love with it. Rayray yes I give it a name is black with a nice design on it that goes all the way to the back. Not a leather material but a smoth plastic kind.

Doesn't have a lot of pocket just one the size of a business card and a folder pocket second pic, a back pocket for a note pad and pen holder.

All the insert I had in my B&N fit perfctly and I also got an extra business card holder and another zip pocket.
